Changes to the Streams

Our stations audio streams have changed slightly.

Our main channel is now 64Kbps in Stereo and our mobile channel is now 32Kbps in Mono.

We tweaked the settings on our main channel so the sound quality is comparable with the old bitrate.

The mono actually sounds a lot better, having more bandwidth for just the one channel makes such an improvement.

If your listening on a mono internet radio consider using the mobile channel as it helps us out a LOT with costs and should make little to no difference if you only have the one speaker anyway.

Please see our instructions which have been updated, as our stream address is changing. Don’t panic as if you forget to change nothing will happen just yet.

This is to allow for future expansion, etc. So please update your settings to avoid problems in the future.
